An ACS member since 1986, Mary Carroll is the 2024 ACS President.
Mary is an affiliate member of the American Association of Chemistry Teachers (AACT) and a member of six ACS technical divisions: Analytical Chemistry (ANYL), Chemical Education (CHED), Colloid & Surface Chemistry (COLL), Inorganic Chemistry (INOR), Polymer Chemistry (POLY), and Small Chemical Businesses (SCHB). She served for 25 years (1998-2022) as a Councilor of the Eastern New York local section.
